I stayed at this property with a few friends and couldn’t be more satisfied with the location and cleanliness! The hosts were helpful and communicative. Everything is newly remodeled with beautiful furniture and decor. Heated toilet seats and bidets were a nice touch 🙂 There is a great view of the mountains from the balcony. I will definitely be staying here again and recommending friends and family!

I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a quick trip but also felt like a mini retreat. Everything was beautiful and modern and sparkling clean. Instructions were easy and host was responsive. The place is a great find. I will definitely book here again when I have time for a future visit.

This place is extremely nice. Bed mattresses were high quality and very comfortable. We especially loved the heated toilet seats.

The place is wonderful and the views are incredible. We loved the conversation pit around the fire and the modern design of everything. The coffee bar was great each morning for skiing and it’s a quick walk over to the base of Canyon Lodge which helped us avoid the parking nightmare on a Saturday. Beds are comfy, it feels like a home! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay while visiting Mammoth.

We had an amazing stay at The Icelander (above Canyon Lodge) in Mammoth Lakes. The location is hard to beat—super close to the lifts (Canyon/Eagle area) and made everything feel easy, whether we were heading out for the day or coming back to crash.Inside, the place is both stylish and genuinely comfortable. The living area is perfect for a group: big TV, tons of seating, and a cozy fireplace that made evenings feel extra relaxing. The windows and balcony views of the trees were a highlight—especially at dusk when everything outside looks like a postcard. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped (full-size fridge, great counter space), and we loved having a proper dining area to gather for meals and games. Every room has a tv so all tastes can been served simultaneously. And there’s even a PlayStation for added entertainment! With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, our group had plenty of space, and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus.Clean, comfortable, and exactly the kind of place you want after a long day in Mammoth. I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming with friends or family.

After a day of adventure, you deserve more than just a place to crash. The serene design—warm woods, soft neutrals, and intentional spaces—helps you actually relax. No visual chaos, no unnecessary clutter. Just clean, comfortable living that lets the mountains be the star.
